Blending Essential Oils

Are you looking for some great Radha Beauty essential oils recipes? I’m back again with some great tips onEssential Oil Blends and how blending your essential oils can be super beneficial. Last time you were here I told you about several oils uses and benefits, but now let's take it to the next level! Mixing oils to find different scents and reactions can be as easy as counting one, two, three. Here’s how.

First, take out yourEssential Oils Kit to see what oils you have to work with. Next, you want to group together your oils. You can group them one of two ways, either by beneficial properties or scent. It’s entirely up to you, but my advice is to try both ways to see what you come up with.

So, figure out traits about the oils and categorize them accordingly. Do your research! Depending on your intent, this will help you find out which oils you want to work with. Radha Beauty’s 18 oil set offers several oils that offer an energizing effect, such as; eucalyptus and peppermint. If you want a more calming effect try lavender, patchouli, and orange. Blending essential oils that offer the same benefits usually works well and will complement each other's qualities. Have fun with it to see what sorts of amazing blends you can come up with.

Another way of grouping your oils is by scents. Now grouping by scents can be a bit tougher. Depending on how your nose reads an oil, you may find a scent to fall under several scents. My opinion is to use your best judgment. This is a learning process and nothing you do is wrong. Try to keep a chart to track which oil has which specific scent.

An easier way is to characterize each oil in its entirety. Basil and rosemary are herbs, as well as clary sage or peppermint, so group these under an herbal category. Other oils like orange, lemongrass, and lemon can be considered citrus therefore mixing such similar oils can have a great outcome. After you figure out the categories, experiment! Mix and match to see which ones work well. There are no right and wrongs.
