The weather is feeling like summertime, and I’m feeling mighty fine! If you know me, you know I love to embrace my natural beauty so there is no guess that I love warm weather. Warm weather equals the beach and of course, beach bodies. I love to lavish my skin in DIY body scrubs to have my skin looking and feeling its best. Although I use body scrubs throughout the year, warmer climates allow me to show off my results.
A homemade sugar scrub will have your hands, lips, and body soft and super moisturized. A body scrub is a treatment that encourages the skin to remove dead skin cells from the body, opening pores and stimulating blood circulation. Its goal is to make our skin look and feel softer, younger, and more vital. To use it, simply massage the sugar scrub in small circular movements all over your body, focusing on rough patches such as elbows, feet, and hands. You may also use on your face, but please proceed with caution and make sure the essential oils you use are not irritating to your skin.

Once you have all the ingredients on hand, mix them together. This sugar scrub literally takes less than 5 minutes to make, even in big batches. I recommend that you apply while in the shower so you can easily rinse it off when you are done.
