Sweet Almond Oil will be Your New Best Friend!

Sweet almond oil is a new carrier oil to the Radha Beauty family. So, let’s take a look at what this 100% pure and natural oil can do!

Sweet almond oil is a carrier oil, which means that it’s gentle enough to use by itself. It can also be used to dilute essential oils. The light, nutty fragrance goes well with an assortment of scents, from warm and woodsy to bright and floral. Mix it with lavender oil for a relaxing massage oil or add it to cinnamon and clove oils for a holiday-worthy perfume mix.

Sweet almond oil is full of vitamin A and E, which help to smooth fine lines and reduce environmental damage to the skin. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids that help to hydrate the skin, reduce signs of premature aging and sun damage. The zinc in the oil is also known to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and scarring.

Known to be an anti-inflammatory, the oil may help to reduce puffiness or under eye circles. Dab some underneath the eyes with clean hands. Almond oil has also been used for years to help hydrate dry skin and to reduce blemishes. It can also be used to soften and smooth scars and stretch marks. Pregnant women can apply the oil to their bellies as they stretch, keeping the skin hydrated and helping to keep the skin soft and elastic.

Almond Oil works as a natural makeup remover. Gently rub over the areas you want to remove and rinse. Follow up with the rest of your skincare nighttime routine. It can be used as a nightly oil to apply before bedtime or as a massage oil.

It’s also a great oil to use on dry, frizzy hair. Apply the almond oil to clean, dry strands, working from the end up. You can add a bit to your conditioner to help hydrate the hair. Applying almond oil to damp hair before blow-drying may help tame flyaways and keep your hair looking smooth and soft.

Please do not use sweet almond oil if you are allergic to nuts. The oil absorbs directly into your bloodstream and can trigger an allergic reaction.

Here are some essential oils you can mix with sweet almond oil:

For Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Frankincense Essential Oil

For Soothing the Skin: Lavender Essential Oil

For Dark Spots: Lemon or Orange Essential Oil (apply SPF after!)

For Cracked Heels/Hands: Tea Tree Essential Oil
