MCT Chocolate Bars for Halloween

Halloween is today! Can you believe it? Halloween is so creative and interesting! In Singapore, we do not celebrate Halloween but since I’ve lived in the states, I try to take part in the festivities as much as I can. My favorite part of Halloween is seeing all of the adorable children in their costumes (sometimes you even get lucky and see dogs in costumes). Yay! I cannot wait.

However, this year I am changing it up a bit. I'm going to a Halloween party! Of course, I’m not going to show up empty-handed so I’m making my favorite, chocolate! My nanny and I would use this recipe all the time, especially when I wasn’t feeling my best (chocolate is one of my favorite comfort snacks). But this recipe isn't just any chocolate; it's a keto-friendly, healthy, low sugar, and low carb chocolate bar.

This bar is different from others because it’s made with Radha Beauty MCT Oil - made with 100% Non-GMO Coconuts! MCTs, or medium-chain triglycerides, are a form of saturated fatty acids that can support your overall health in ways that extend beyond weight loss. Found naturally in foods like coconut oil, cheese, butter, and yogurt, MCTs are efficiently broken down into ketones in the liver, which can then be used for energy. MCTs may help improve mental clarity, support digestive health, boost hormonal health, and decrease your risk of developing heart disease and diabetes.

This recipe is extremely simple and only takes two steps to create.  Located below are the ingredients and instructions for this healthy treat.

  • 40g raw cacao butter
  • 2 tablespoons Radha Beauty MCT Oil
  • 3 tablespoons coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons maca powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder

  1. Add all ingredients to a small pot and cook under low heat until cacao butter is completely melted. Turn off heat and mix well until smooth. When melting your ingredients together, be patient and do so slowly.
  2. Pour contents into a chocolate bar silicon mold. Freeze for 10 minutes until set.

So, this Halloween, share a healthy chocolate bar made with Radha Beauty’s MCT Oil and lots of love! Just make sure they don't have any tree nut allergies.
