Nothing else makes my heart more happy than aromatherapy. In fact, I’m excited to share some of the ways I useessential oil diffusers for aromatherapy. You’ve asked, and of course, I listened!
Aromatherapy in definition is the practice of using natural oils to enhance one's psychological and physical well-being. It is a fascinating alternative to the harshness that sometimes comes along with modern medicine. This is an all-natural way of boosting energy levels or something as simple as treating headaches that may arise from the stress of a busy lifestyle.
Each oil has a vast array of properties that can be used for a number of different problems, like geranium. My love for geranium comes with its rosy scent that helps me fall asleep at night. If you suffer from insomnia I definitely recommend this oil. If you’re experiencing cramps but don’t want to take several Tylenol or Advil, try diffusing clary sage or cinnamon. You’ll be amazed at how it relieves cramps and other annoying symptoms that come with our menstrual cycles. It does wonders!
Also, remember beauties, a key element to aromatherapy is synergy, which is the combination of numerous essential oils, that can actually create a more powerful effect than the oils would have on their own. Even though some oils are strong independently, combined with other oils, it's effects can be increased to stimulate different reactions; such as increased brain performance or respiratory function. The perfect equation of essential oils in your diffuser can lead to the perfect remedy for inner peace and well-being.
So, what I’m really trying to say is… MIX AND MATCH! Try different oils! Try different blends of oils! Try different diffusers! See which works best for you! The possibilities are endless! Until next time.
